While not exactly all organic, Intimate Organics products do tend to filled with organic extracts and natural oils and are paraben and DEA free. The Foot Foreplay Lotion is no exception. Filled with good things like aloe, shea butter and jojoba oil, it’s a terrific treat for tired feet and provides a wonderful, long lasting medium for a thorough foot rub.
I chose the cocoa bean/goji berry scent and it’s heavenly. It’s chocolatey but light, with a hint of berry sweetness. When I first opened it, I was reminded of a tobacco shop and the scent of aromatic pipe tobacco; sweet and smokey but soft and light. The scent is definitely one of the best things about this lotion.
While a very noticeable scent, it’s not overwhelming. It lingers on the skin for about an hour and then fades away and is no longer noticeable. It shouldn’t be overpowering even for those who are sensitive to smells.
The best thing, though, is how well it performs. It’s a thick lotion, more of a cream or balm. It’s in a flip top tube that contains 5 ounces of product that squeezes out easily. (It may be a bit difficult, like toothpaste, to get out of the tube once there is little left but, for now, it comes out with just a wee squeeze.) About a nickel sized dollop is plenty for a very thorough foot rub.
Though thick, the lotion spreads wonderfully and is quite slick and long lasting, likely due to the addition of dimethicone. Foot Foreplay doesn’t feel greasy or heavy, despite being balm-like. It glides like a much lighter lotion, allowing your hands and fingers to rub and knead the muscles of the foot with little friction and a lot of easy slide.
Foot massages are wonderful things and, often, we use just a regular lotion – or no lotion – to perform them. Regular lotions simply cannot compete with this formula that was designed specifically for feet. It leaves even rough tootsies feeling soft and supple.
You can also use this for massage on any part of the body or simply as a lotion. No one is going to stop you and it’ll feel and smell terrific. But why waste your five ounces on the rest of your body when Intimate Organics makes so many wonderful products? From body souffle to massage balm, bubble bath to body wash, massage oil to lube and natural anal easing sprays, Intimate Organics has a product to suit almost every need. I’m determined to get them all, to layer on the scent and effects of each individual product.
Clean up is easy as this lotion fully absorbs into the skin and any that may rub onto sheets or blankets does not leave a stain.

It’s a lotion, not advertised as edible. I’d imagine it tastes rather like any lotion. Heh. I didn’t lick it.
