But the one I like the best is their explanation for Intentsity’s lack of rechargability.

We decided to opt for a battery operated model first as the cost at retail would have skyrocketed to over $350.00. The medicval version of this device, without vibration, is rechargeable, but it is also an FDA approved device prescribed by Doctors, retails at $595.00…so, it was strictly an economic decision. Also, the Intensity operates for 8.5 hours on a set of batteries. Intensity 2 will most likely be rechargeable as the costs of the circuit boards will go down the more we sell and produce. Amazing how things have changed…8-10 years ago we could not give rechargeables away for free, now it’s a must-have.

However, the product can be used with rechargeable batteries! How great is that?
