The introduction of cam to cam or cyber sex had enabled a heightened level of intimacy in fantasy. While there are  pro’s and con’s for virtually any new technology cam sex has brought geographically separated partners closer together and allowed adoring fans to connect on a one on one basis with their favorite model or starlet.

DAVE GAMMON: First I'd like to thank you for agreeing to this interview today. It's always a pleasure to see a fellow Canadian in a sea of Silicon Valley Starlets. To you what is the difference between American and Canadian performers in the adult entertainment industry?

KYLIE DEVILLE: To be honest with you I don't know a lot about the American adult entertainment industry. I have had offers to shoot from American but they require some sort of US identification to meet industry requirements, which I don't have, but may take a drive over to Phoenix and get one someday (laughs). From my perception it seems that the Adult Entertainment Industry in the US is far more commercial and focused on a particular area 'Silicon Valley' where most of it is produced. Canadian porn is more performers who are definitely beauties but more girl next door, more real. And they are from all across the country and the content they star in is produced from all corners of Canada, of course with more concentration in the bigger cities.
 
DG:  For those of us that have limited exposure to the business and have relatively little comprehension of the lingo, what is a MILF? Would you consider yourself a MILF or are you often referred to as a MILF and how does this make you feel?

KD: Technically MILF is an acronym for MOTHER I'D LIKE TO FUCK! (laughs) There is a huge number of fans who really appreciate mature women, some particularly women that are sexy Moms. It's actually a REALLY REALLY big trend in porn right now. I do consider myself a MILF. And yes I do like to fuck myself too. (laughs) I am often referred to as a MILF and it makes me proud that I am so sexy and desirable to so many people at 40, an age where in years past I would have been considered 'too old' or a 'write off' or 'washed up'.
 
DG: Tell us about your involvement with Southern Charms How does it differ from other sites?

KD:  Southern-Charms.com  is THE largest amateur site in the world. There are approximately 800 models on a consistent basis. (some leave and new ones join but it is always around the 800 mark) What I like about the site is there is woman there for everybody's taste. I am a fan of girl on girl, though I perform predominantly solo and boy/girl, with a bit of girl/girl fetish type things thrown in for good measure. ie. tickle fights etc. I am actually not very aware of the who's who in American produced porn, especially the men. DG: What are some of your personal turn ons?

DG: Clearly adult film has evolved since the 90's first from video to DVD then content could be found on the world wide web and now Blue Ray. What do you think is the next big thing in porn?

KD: I have heard talk about 'interactive' porn where somehow you feel a physical touch putting you more in the movie than just regular POV shooting. I am not a big technology person though. What's big now is amateur home shot stuff. It makes it seem like something the every day husband could shoot with his naughty wife. One step forward and two steps back?- Or maybe not; As long as it’s not the same old thing right?
 
 
DG: What are some of the pros and cons of evolution in adult entertainment? Is it bringing us closer and more intimate or even further detached and arbitrary?
 
KD: I think it really depends on the person. Some people may be less inclined to go out and meet someone for a real physical sexual relationship because it’s just easier to pleasure themselves to videos or webcam girls or whatever their thing is. Other people may be persuaded by what they see on video to go out and experiment and try things in real life and meet new people and explore their sexual fantasies.

DG: What are your views on cam to cam sex? How does this compare to adult film from a viewer's perspective and a performer’s?

KD: Obviously cam to cam allows the viewer to interact on a personal level with the performer like we haven't seen in the past. I think the viewer may enjoy this more because they feel more connected with the model.  But there are definitely times where for example two viewers, a boyfriend and girlfriend are fucking, they just want to watch other people fucking to get them hot and heavy and make them cum hard. They don't necessarily want an interaction, just stimulation. I think both cam and videos will continue to be popular for different reasons. From a performer point of view it could be more of a realistic turn on, particularly as a solo girl to see someone enjoying what they are doing. I have to admit though there is a lot of scheduling involved in caming and from my experience there are some very unsavory people that you don't really want to interact with. Some can be pushy, rude and downright disgusting! Some are just plain mean. "No I will not pee all over my bed and roll in it for you!!!" Geez! Some people's kids! (laughs)
