I was reading Why Do We Kiss? over at Your Tango and it got me thinking about kissing in general.
I have an extremely close-knit group of friends and we all kiss each other upon hellos and good byes. Not that fake, air kissing thing but actual smooches on the lips.
Same goes with my Honey. We kiss often; lip kisses, forehead kisses, cheek kisses; smacking “mmmmuahs” and little brushing kisses and absent minded pecks. But we don’t really kiss a lot during sex or even foreplay; we don’t do a lot of sloppy tongue kissing or prolonged make out sessions.
So I got to wondering about everyone else. There is a lot of science involved in kissing but it also seems very much like a simple personal preference to me. Some people like kissing and some don’t. Some like certain kinds of kissing and not others. And they can usually tell you why without it involving much science. In fact, it’s usually a matter of whether it feels good or not.
So. How about you? Do you like kissing?

I am a HUGE fan of kissing. So vital is kissing, for me, that if you suck at it, I will avoid kissing you, and if we are dating, I will break up with you. It is the ultimate expression of intimacy and affection.

The only time I don’t like kissing is when he/she stuffs her tongue down my throat. When they say “Tonsil Hockey”, they don’t mean it literally. Honest.

I, too like kissing but if the person has foul breath or bad technique I’ll happily pass. Kissing to me is very intimate so I tend to reserve that for people I feel close enough to want too smooch em.

I kiss my friends when we say hello and good-bye; The Hubs and I kiss each other a lot: quick pecks lots of times during the day, long kisses a couple of times a day, lots of tongue during foreplay, deep pasionate kissing ALL over during sex. However, if I am not close to you or you are not my friend and I am just meeting you — keep your lips to yourselr!!

My guy and I do end up kissing sometimes, but sometimes I feel like it’s a lot less than what we should be doing. We just tend to get caught up in other ways of affection like being near each other or cuddling. When it comes to my friends, there’s only a select few that I’ll kiss on the cheek.

I enjoy kissing anywhere & everywhere…on the body. My hubby & I haven’t kissed in about 12 months, it saddens me. I think kissing (on the lips) is very romantic & something I only do with those I love. However, I do kiss family and friends on the cheek, but it stops there!
