This is my first Valentine’s that I’ve been with someone, but he’s not going to be here. He’s in school in Maryland.

My dream Valentines for us would be going to a having a picnic lunch, and going to an orgy/play party. That would be awesome. Then we could go home, drink some wine, give each other presents and spend the next couple days in bed, curled up together.

I don’t have a significant other (my last “it’s complicated” ended rather badly about a month ago) so unless something miraculous happens in the next couple of weeks, I’ll be alone this Valentine’s day.

Being alone on Valentine’s day doesn’t mean I can’t celebrate, right? I’ll splurge on a bottle of wine (Red Zin is one of my favs…or maybe Sangria…I haven’t had that in a good long time), fix myself a good dinner for once (no hot dogs or Ramen noodles on Valentine’s day! lol) and for dessert break out the good dark chocolate (I am a dark chocolate fiend…no really, I have a drawer full) or maybe pick up some chocolate cake.

And since no Valentine’s day celebration is complete without a little lovin’ I’ll make sure I’m wearing something sexy and pull out my favorite toys for the night, maybe my Lelo Nea, or, dare I hope, a shiny new Little Chroma? (I’ve only been wanting one since I first laid eyes on it close to a year ago…) and well…you know the rest.

Thought it’s nowhere near as much of a big deal here in Aus as it is in the US I think I’ll be celebrating V-Day with a lovely ‘single ladies’ day with plenty of laughs and drinks and movies.
