Raven Riley is a porn star who had a profound effect on my life. I found out about her after dealing with a scammer who claimed to be her, fucked up in using her full name. At first I only knew this person as Raven. After finding out the full name and finding her website I contacted the people in charge and asked if Raven used this person’s email address. It took a while to get an answer and I eventually joined hoping to get an answer sooner. Little did I know that at the time she was inactive, but luckily for me would be coming back shortly, within the next month or so.

As I got to know her from her videos and cam shows I learned to care for her a lot. Using the email system on her site to send her jokes and ask her questions was especially great when it was like instant messaging. I have had problems with depression of some sort for years, but she made me feel better about myself. I did more in taking care of myself after talking to her than I ever had before meeting the real Raven Riley even if it was just on her site.

Listening to her laugh and talk with such a sweet voice was truly a joy. I told her I was a realist and while I understood her work was to project a fantasy, I didn’t want to live in that world. As far as I know she was honest and true with me and I know I was certainly honest with her. Her movie Succubus was the first porn film I was able to watch clear through and actually like it. Her videos were the first where I came to like if not love all of them. The reason is because with so many things I hate about porn and while she had some of those things. Her videos weren’t about her being humiliated. When she was with the guy from her videos, she would give and take control. Even in her bondage video she did the same thing and I feel remained respectable.

I and some others have told her that even if she didn’t take off her clothes we would still watch her cam shows and for me, that holds true today. She has a great body and a great personality and that is why I would follow her to any site she went to. But recently I finally got word that she has left that world behind. You can subscribe to her site for around $30 a month as I recall and watch her old cam shows and videos to understand why I think she is a goddess. There are those of us that will miss her. Some of them my friends from her site. While I would love to see her return in any fashion to the net or even show business, meaning not porn. I do not expect her to do so. Having witnessed how fucked up people can be I can understand her wanting out.

I recall one guy who hacked her site and interrupted her cam show. Saying she was past her prime which I doubt she has reached. I do not know what he hoped to accomplish by doing what he did. But she managed to trick him by leaving for a bit and then coming back and finishing the show. One jackass I knew and tried to reason with, had no interest but in spreading poison about her. Claiming she was scamming people and prostituting herself to old men and I can’t even remember the rest of the shit he was saying. He was such a bad liar that he contradicted himself in the comments area of this one contest on the net.

Another thing that I would bet would make life hard for her is dealing with the constant sexual demands of the viewers. While she encouraged this behavior, I think it was to project the fantasy. I am sure that having people talk the way they did on the cam shows would still affect her personal life. I chose to talk to her with respect at all times. If she requested feed back or ideas I would give it. I came up with some ideas purely as jokes and made it obvious and she responded with a hahaha or lol. One time her B-day was coming up and I did the only thing I kind of regret. I got her a thing from her wish list which was a butterfly vibrating strap on dildo/vibrating panty thing. I just dig strap ons. I should have gotten her these roller blades she wanted instead but I let my dick do the thinking. What I don’t regret is refusing to accept a gift in return. I thought it fucked up to give bribes to get B-day presents and to show true friend ship I told her just be happy with the gift and I will be happy too.

I will continue one thing and that is to fuck with people who use her pictures and claim to be her to steal money from others. I would love one day to meet her and tell her thanks for being such an inspiration to so many. I hope she reads this article/blog entry and knows she always has a friend in me. I would love to maintain contact with her, but I doubt that will happen.
