… and Finding the Safe, Right Affordable Toy

What do we mean by “Beginner Toys” and what defines what kind of “Beginner.” Also, what toys are really best for those new to either toys or sex and toys in general?
The term “beginner” may mean different things to different people. Some erroneously think that toys with very inconsistent or weaker vibrations, poor or non-body safe materials or short lives are “beginners’ toys.” Nothing could be farther from the truth.
Many people are very hesitant to try Sex Toys, and one bad experience, either a toy which doesn’t help bring them to climax, one which breaks after only a few uses, or one which is too loud and conspicuous or even a toy which hurts her may cause them to think “Vibrators don’t work for me.” Not all people new to the using toys realize that not all sex toys are equal, and one poor toy may shut the door to new experimentation and the world of interesting play, by causing a less than satisfying experience. Therefore, good quality toys, made of safe materials at an affordable price, are most likely best for many “Beginners.”
Also, some people may not be new to sexual relations or masturbation, but have never gotten around to trying sex toys, may want to bring some variety to a relationship or may be starting off new with a new relationship or a new identification of the sexuality or are newly single and suddenly may be freed from a partner who may have not been interested or even threatened by sex toys. Discreet
These toys are high quality, but discreet, quiet, as many younger women either live at home with parents or room mates or want something that won’t give away what they are playing with. Some of these toys have lesser strengths than other toys, but we shouldn’t always assume that “newbies” always only want gentle toys. High Intensity Crystal Bullet or regular High Intensity Bullet $18.99 and $14.99 These are not threatening. Small and have Variable speeds. A great deal in this price range. These bullets are common in the arsenals of those who have only a few toys or drawers, boxes, closets and rooms full of them. These bullets are small, intense, discreet and pretty. Every woman needs a good bullet, either for teasing, warming up or to bring oneself to orgasm. Whether she is just learning how her body responds sexually alone or with a partner, or needs something to warm up with or come to orgasm and is well experienced in using sex toys. Bcute Classic $24.99 Silicone, Small, low intensity vibrations, multi speeds. This is a high quality, lower priced, but by no means “cheap” vibrator in a smaller size than many, with safe materials and good vibrations.
Jimmy Jane Iconic Smoothie $19.99 Classic vibe shape, inexpensive, multiple settings, waterproof. Made of hard plastic. The Iconic Smoothie is a classically shaped straight vibrator, which can be used externally or during penetration.[/tabcontent]
Some vibrators attach to the finger, and are similar enough to manual masturbation that they may make some women comfortable with their first toy.
The Wishbone $25.99 finger massager has an interesting design. This small pocket sized vibrator has a U shaped handle and can be used directly on one’s finger, which may be more acceptable to women who have tried manual masturbation yet want the extra stimulation of a vibrator. It is truly a unique shape and toy. 
The Chandra $29.99 by Emotional Bliss has a comfortable sheath, that fits over the finger and is attached to a fairly powerful small vibrator.
The Isis $29.99 also by Emotional Bliss a similar finger vibrator to the Chandra and is said to be for women “between the ages of 18 and 30” although I don’t know if there is a real science behind this. It is still a good finger massager. 
The Fukouku is a little more expensive, but attaches to the wrist for easy use. It is a favorite finger massage vibrator for many women. It has numerous attachments and fits on the hand for easy use.[/tabcontent]
Pocket Rockets are slightly larger than Bullets and are held rather than attached to the finger. They are sometimes used for shallow insertion, but are usually used for clitoral stimulation and may be a good introduction for women new to penetration or simply for those who want a smaller, discreet vibrating toy.
The Jimmy Jane Iconic Pocket Rocket is only one speed, but seems to have a lot of fans, No frills, plain white, hard plastic, but it is strong enough for many and quiet. 
The iVibe $38.99 pocket rocket comes with it’s own lube. It can be used with the cap on or take the cap off for a textured experience. Many say it has the strongest power of the rockets. Plastic 
The Bottle Rocket Line, by Evolved $11.99 are nice pocket rockets in innovative packaging. Here is one, the Saturn, but they come in several different shapes and textures. Plastic with a velvet feel . These can provide shallow penetration in addition to the nice Evolved vibration, or be used as a clitoral massager.
The Mini Flex by Cal Exotics .$8.99 is small and discreet. It has vibrating balls on the head and three attachments. Plastic. Not meant for insertion. The Mega Mite$10.99 is said to be stronger and has only one head[/tabcontent]
New to toys and sex, or difficulty with orgasm.
Some women may be new to sex, and are having difficulty with orgasm. These women may want a strong toy, but not a threatening one. They also often want a quiet toy and one which will virtually guarantee an orgasm. No toy can guarantee an orgasm, but some are better at others for helping a new Explorer to Find her Orgasm. New to toys, experienced sexually.
The woman who wants these toys is not a virgin or a beginner at sexual relations. She may have been sexually active for years, have had several relationships, or have been or is in a long term relationship. Newer additions to the Classic Massager line are the Fairy toys. They come in several different sizes and their users appear loyal and satisfied. Several of them can be charged and used without being tethered to the plug. These are not as quiet as some other toys, but they seem to make for it in power. Their prices vary between $22.99 (for the Baby) to $60.00 
Fairy wand is the top of the line, it is loved by many and is seen by some as less intimidating then the Hitachi or the Wahl massagers, with it’s smaller size and pink and white coloring.
Fairy rechargeable is an lovely wand vibrator, with a rechargeable function.

The Anal Finger plug, $8.99 also by Orion is a TPE toy of truly unintimidating size. It is smaller than most men’s fingers and has a large retrieval ring. Two inches of insertable length and only 2.25 inches in circumference at it’s widest. It is one of the smallest anal toys on the market. For those who may need to learn relaxation skills, or are nervous about anal play, but are still interested in learning this most enjoyable form of sex play. 
Silicone crystal cote butt plug, by Cal Exotics $12.99 is a nice introduction to a fully silicone butt plug, with a wide round base at a reasonable price. The ProPal for Men $18.99, is an ABS plastic prostate toy. Although an inexpensive material, it is still safe. The Aneros Line of Prostate toys are legendary. The Aneros MGX $54.99 has the interesting Aneros handle, and 4 ½ inches of insertable length, 3 inches of circumference at the widest point and a very stimulating, undulating shape for Prostate exploration. The Line has similar, yet slightly different prostate stimulators from to $67.99. All are safe, washable plastic. Other dongs, with the proper base can also be used with this harness. It has the advantage of containing no animal products and is cruelty free. It also fits a wide variety of body shapes and sizes. 
Jill Kelly’s jel-lee strap-on with harness $24.99 by Topco is another beginner harness with an accompanying dildo. Although the “jel-lee” material of the dong is not the most sought after material for sex toys, the price for this beginner’s harness alone is worth it. One could easily replace the jelly dong included with this harness with one of a safer and easier to keep clean material. Users say this harness is easy to adjust and will accommodate a variety of dildos with the proper base for harness play. 
A good harness compatible dildo, in 100% silicone for safety to replace the less than safe materials the dildos in some of these less expensive starter harnesses come with is the Sedeux Please by Sports Sheets, at $29.99, all silicone, harness compatible, and a not intimidating 4 ½ inches of insertable length, this is quite a good buy for a newer user of these toys.[/tabcontent]
