SKYE: I’d like to thank you from the bottom of my silk soaked panties for taking the time to do this interview. I must admit I am slightly turned on by the notion that I get you here and now answering questions; I am so eager to hear the answers to. I’ve read other interviews you’ve done, and I promise you my questions will be a tad more uncensored. I welcome dirty banter, sexual harassment, and my own questions turned back on you from time to time.
LUC WYLDER: Sounds wonderful….Before you begin, I know this is one of your first interviews. First we have to do this huge scintillated introduction, which I’m about to do for you.
SKYE: Excellent!
LW: So this is Luc Wylder being interviewed by Leona Skye, famous go-go dancer from the Toronto area, infamous for her time on the sex lines with all the hot and horny men out there for her, and now interviewer extraordinaire…. (collective applause) …Let me welcome you. Thank you very much, by the way, for inviting me for your article and feeling safe enough to use me. Is this really your first interview?
SKYE: Not entirely. I’d hosted another Q&A for my husband David Gammon with Ann Marie Rios. I’d done the interview simply because he was double booked. But they were his questions.
LW: Well that doesn’t surprise me, as I seem to gravitate towards virgins and first timers.
I did meet a virgin one time. We were in love with one another. We were very young. She had a certain sweetness about her. She wanted me to take her virginity, but I was just messing with her. You know what I mean?
SKYE: Right….
LW: So I didn’t do it.
SKYE: Oh good for you.
LW: I told her I couldn’t do it. I said it was something that you have to remember for the rest of your life. It’s somebody that you really love and are committed to. And I’m just making out.
SKYE: Right….
LW: So I’m just…. It was my only shot, though. I turned down the only shot ever.
SKYE: Oh jeez.
LW: (laughs)
SKYE: I was such the wild child. I’ve got a plethora of virgins under my belt. It was awful!
LW: Uh huh….
SKYE: I had way too much fun.
LW: I understand. But I will tell you. Are you aware that we’ve begun, my wife Alexandra Silk and I, being trained as sex surrogates, also known as sensate focus surrogates?
SKYE: David was definitely saying something about that. He said he was speaking with your wife the other day, and she’d brought up the topic about premature ejaculation.
LW: Right….
SKYE: She’s said that it just stopped. It was not elaborated on or anything like that. So all of a sudden here I am quizzing David, what exactly can be done for premature ejaculation? How can it help? What exactly is it that you and your wife do as sexual therapists to enhance-or information-or advise is given in the process that you provide to these people that need your help?
LW: The first thing I should say is we are both in our internship.
SKYE: Ok…
LW: We’re still students of the craft. So I don’t claim to be an expert, yet. Beyond that there are various means of working with them. On the male level, we work with a lot of premature ejaculators, also men with erectile dysfunction, but we’re working with people on the outside, normal scope of human behaviour. We work with people who are so out of touch with human contact that you can’t even touch them, much less than in a sexual manner. In a nutshell, what we try to do is get them to leave all their past histories behind, their religion, their culture, their personal experiences. We try to bring them into the “here and now.’ We focus very much on the physical stimuli-sensation of touch. We also start a very slow and systematic and defined method, so that people are always comfortable. People are always aware of what boundries are approached, and where our boundaries are drawn.
SKYE: Yes….
LW: It’s an amazing thing, because having been in the sex industry for as long as I have been, we always eroticized sex. This is just the opposite. As sex therapists or surrogates, we don’t dress up, or we’re not wearing erotic clothing. I’m not dressed up like a male Dom, or full leather and a black hat. It’s totally the opposite. We try to get away from eroticizing about sex, and bring people into the physical sensations. It’s amazing when you start doing it. The work-with yourself. You start realizing and really thinking about what feels good, not what someone else is telling you feels good, or forcing you to assume what feels good. This is authentic.
SKYE: Hmmmm….
LW: And we feel very privileged and honoured to do this kind of work. I mean, we change people’s lives with it. Really.
Alex is working with a fifty year old virgin, male. There are many women…. …have a client that is a fifty year old widow who is still a virgin.
SKYE: Wow!
LW: So the impact you can have on these people’s lives is tremendous. Just as a side note, many years ago, when Viagara first came onto the market, we were introduced to a gentleman who had never successfully had sexual relations with anyone until it came out.
SKYE: Wow!
LW: Can you imagine that? And he was in his sixties.
SKYE: Jeepers….
LW: Could you imagine going through your whole life never having good sex, then suddenly someone pops a drug in your mouth and you’ve got a hard on and you’re bangin’?
SKYE: Exactly!
LW: (laughs….)
SKYE: Holy smokes!
LW: Yeah so I don’t know…. It’s kind of an impact that we’ve had on other lives. It’s really rewarding.
SKYE: Sounds like it would be. Sounds very interesting, how did you get involved with that?
LW: Everything I do is kind of evolutionary. From one step leads another. It goes all the way back to my early work in Manhattan, when I became the premier male Dom of the fetish scene in New York, and I was. Dozens and dozens of fetish box covers ( I was on) from different companies all over the east coast. I was the man. Part of the reason I was the man was because I was really intuitive, into other people and working with their bodies. I mean if I went through a list of women who I’ve worked with, it’s like right out of the pages of adult history. It’s all the big major stars back in those times. Girls that weren’t into fetish, and girls who were into fetish. They shipped them out to New York and kept them there for five days. We had to work with them. And everybody liked working with me. I knew what to do.
SKYE: Go on….
LW: I can’t really explain how or why. Because of my introduction into the sex world, I feel very in tuned with my own body. I’m somewhat of an intuit. I don’t mean psychic, just mean someone who picks up on other people’s moods, energy, or whatever you may want to call it. Know what I mean?
SKYE: Yes…..
To be continued…
