About me: Laurel is perhaps better known as the current Editor in Chief for SexIs Magazine. Most of what she writes for EdenCafe tends to be ranty, liberal, political diatribes, but she hopes if you’re not, at least, entertained, she’s at least inspired you to think critically on a topic and not just accept the Fox News sound bite as fact. She’s a writer, editor, graphic designer, amateur photographer, single mother and former political hack. While she gave up working in the world of politics, she’s never been able to get rid of her passion for debate and ranting on and on about politicians, policy, government and the media who cover them.
